No. Your files never leave your browser. All PDF rendering, editing, and exporting happens entirely in your browser's memory using client-side JavaScript. We have zero access to your documents.
You can highlight text, draw freehand, add text boxes, insert shapes (rectangles, circles, arrows), add sticky notes, rotate/delete/reorder pages, and export the annotated PDF.
HelaForge focuses on annotation and markup — adding new content on top of the PDF. Direct text editing of existing PDF content is complex and planned for a future release.
HelaForge auto-saves your work to your browser's local storage. When you reopen the editor, you can resume from where you left off.
