2. Description of Service

HelaForge is a web-based suite of PDF tools that allows users to edit, compress, merge, split, and convert PDF documents. All file processing occurs locally on the user's device within their web browser.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the documents you edit, merge, or convert using the Service. You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Process documents that you do not have the legal right to possess or modify.
  • Remove password protection or encryption from documents without authorization from the document owner.
  • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service.

4. No Warranty

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. HelaForge does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for any document corruption, data loss, or other damages resulting from your use of the Service. Always keep backups of your original documents.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by HelaForge and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. This does not apply to the documents you process; you retain full ownership of your own files.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall HelaForge, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
